Pelos vistos andam enrolados em projectos, foi impressão minha ou houve um abrandamento de posts..

Bem, vou deixar aqui alguns concursos:

Dear Artists!

We would like to invite you to take part in the next venture of Available Art.

The show has the title “Art for Games” and will take place in April, in Saint Niklaas, Belgium, within the scope of the “18th Independent Art Festival”.

(For more information: http://www.sztuka-fabryka.be/festival/index.htm)

The idea

The “Independent Art Festival” has a long tradition of presenting interactive projects.

Art is usually not sold there (they are making an exception for us) but produced, performed, presented at the place in order to involve the public as much as possible. Our concept is to show games that can be played with by visitors to our stand at the festival.

What art work we are looking for:

- Any kind of game - board game, card game, parlour game, game of skill, puzzle.

Generally spoken: any art object that can be played with. This can be:

(1) original games (invented by you) or

(2) artistic versions / interpretations of already existing games.

(Some Examples: “Sensation Image Control”, by R. Reisenberger – an assembly of folded colored papers that can be sensationally spinned on the fingertip – a sculpture and a game at the same. “Meyemory”, by M. Olasinska – a classical Memory game with the idea of assembling a pair of eyes. “Translucent Card Game”, by

K. Skrobiszewska - a set of game that you cannot cheat with, as all cards are translucent...)

- Objects that are connected to the topic, by using certain elements of games for their manufacture.

(Examples: “Manipulated Kings and Queens” by P. Semkowicz - single cards of a classical card game with abstract heads (collage). “Hängepartie”, by A. Morlinghaus - Necklaces made out of small game figures or plasticised elements of card games)

- The games can be made out of any material / medium.

Computer games are also possible; there will be a laptop to show / play them.
